Our take
Vampire Survivors looks like a throwaway, then eats your weekend. You move; the game auto-attacks; and a screen full of enemies slowly becomes a puzzle of which upgrades to grab.
It is the closest a desktop game gets to the "instant, low-commitment" feeling we love on the browser side — perfect for a 15-minute break that turns into an hour.
