Who we are

PlaycadeHub is a general-audience, editor-curated directory of instant-play browser games. We embed third-party HTML5 games and write our own scene and genre guides. We do not build or host the games themselves, and we do not require any account to browse or play.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

PlaycadeHub is not directed to children under 13. To comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), every visitor sees an age gate on first visit. You enter your birth year and month; we compute your age and block access for anyone under 13. We store only a "pass" or "block" flag in your browser — never your exact birth date, name, email, or any login.

If we learn that we have received personal information from a visitor under 13 despite the gate, we delete it. The age gate is a neutral, non-child-directed screen; our branding uses neutral colors and language rather than kid-directed themes.

What we collect

• Age-gate flag: a pass/block marker saved in your browser (localStorage + a 1-year cookie). No birth date is stored.
• Analytics (optional, placeholder): if enabled, anonymous, aggregated usage data only. No personally identifiable information.
• Embedded partners: the third-party games we embed may set their own cookies or collect data under their own policies. We label sponsored placements and choose partners that respect age-appropriate, tiered ads.
• Saved rotation: if you use "Save to rotation," the list of saved game slugs is kept only in your browser.

Affiliate links & disclosure (FTC)

PlaycadeHub is editor-curated and free to use. Some links on the site — including our PC & Console reviews — may be affiliate links. If you click and later make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect our editorial picks.

Monetization status: affiliate slots are deployed as placeholders (affiliateNetwork: "pending"). Real network tags are filled by the monetization team before any link goes live; until then, no commission-bearing tag is attached. Each affiliate page carries its own disclosure line.

Do Not Sell or Share (CCPA / CPRA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. PlaycadeHub does not sell personal information for money. Where we use cookies or embedded content that could be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, you can opt out by:

• Clicking "Do Not Sell or Share" in the privacy notice banner (shown on first visit), or
• Enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we honor, or
• Clearing the age-gate / cookie flags in your browser settings.
